We somehow managed to book a week long trip to 30A and stay in a million dollar home… FOR FREE.
Yeah, no, we still haven’t processed it either.
Hi! We are Gabby and Tori, sister-duo- turned-business partners endeavoring to create a space of community for girlies planning a Bachelorette Party or Girls Trip but have no idea where to start, what to do, where to go, etc. Our goal is to create a community filled with small business vendors working together to give our brides, bridesmaids and besties a trip they will never forget.
As 2 girls who have been in the wedding industry for 10+ years, we have seen so many trends come and go, but something that is here to stay is the Bachelorette Party – and they are just getting bigger and boujee..er (That’s a word right?)
So how does any of that connect to our free trip in 30A Florida?
The beauty of ✨ networking ✨ .
When we decided to start this company, we knew the importance of networking and making positive, lasting relationships with other small businesses who align with our vision. As a Bachelorette Party dominant company, we thought the best place to start was Bachelorette Party Planning companies all over the US. Our idea is to partner with one from every major city and bachelorette destination in the US.
Like any healthy relationship, Gabby and I have our strengths and weaknesses. However, where one of us lacks, the other makes up for it. Since Gabby is the more extroverted, talkative of the two of us, she is the head of communications and whom I give the credit for our networking successes ! She was able to grow our partnership list in a matter of weeks. A list which currently spans from the New England States, to 30A Florida and even all the way to Napa Valley in California.
Which is EXACTLY how we managed to score the trip of a lifetime.
This summer we had the pleasure of partnering with Nicole from 30A Bach Babes. She was our very first official partner and asked if we wanted to join her in throwing a “Mock Bride Week” down in the Santa Rosa Beach area in Florida. Nicole started her bachelorette party planning company as a fun little side project because of her passion for creativity and putting together memorable events for her friends and family. From there she has grown her own booming business and a network of amazing connections to local small businesses in the 30A and surrounding cities.
What is a “Mock Bride Week” you ask? Simply put, you throw a fake bachelorette weekend and test out activities, food, etc. that you then promote to your clients for their bachelorette party.
Say less, we were IN.
What started as a small 1 day trip, quickly turned into 3 full days packed with activities from hosting a private chef dinner to spending the afternoon partying on a double-decker pontoon. Thanks to Nicole, we were able to work with 10 different vendors local to the 30A.
One of our biggest struggles was deciding where on earth to stay to get all of this accomplished. Gabby and I spent weeks scouring through AirBnB and messaging owners to try and find a space that would accommodate what we were needing. When it was a month out, we had an answer to our prayers when Nicole made a connection with the owners of the ‘Jewel of the Sea 30A’. Tucked away in a gated community right off of Grayton Beach was the perfect house for our trip. The Jewel of the Sea is a breathtaking 4 story beach house with 5 beds and 4.5 baths, sleeping up to 14 people! This property was absolutely perfect, but how was a little startup like ours going to be able to afford to stay at an almost $2 million mansion for one night, let alone 4 nights?
Creating positive, lasting relationships with other small businesses who align with our vision.
The owners of the Jewel of the Sea saw the importance in the content we would be creating and offered to let our entire group stay at the house FREE of charge. We were absolutely floored by this generosity. The only thing the manager of the home asked from us is to pay the cleaning fee, providing updated photos of the interior of the house, and to be tagged in any/all content posted on social media.
This trip not only gave us memories to last a lifetime, but the relationships we formed with each and every vendor is something we will be forever grateful to Nicole for.
XOXO,
Gabby & Tori
